An exotic, perennial herb,upto 1m tall,has been cultivated and introduced in local areas.
Plant Description:
Leaves simple, narrow,linear,entire, sessile,silvery.Inflorescence a spike,3-8cm long,verticillasters 2-8.Flower zygomorphic,purple-blue,fragrant.Corolla 2-lipped.Fruit nutlet type,smooth,shiny.

May-June.

May-June.
Medicinal Value:
Flower tea treats anxiety,headaches,flatulence,nausea,dizziness. Essential oil treats burns,sore throats, rheumatic aches, high blood pressure,insomnia and depression.[10] It has sedative properties good for anxiety and tension. [11] Locally massage of dried flowers treats headache,releases tension and increases will power.
