- Leaves compound,imparipinnate, aromatic and gland dotted. Leaflets opposite,sessile,elliptic to ovate-lanceolate. Midrib spiny below. Petiole and mid rib winged. Male flower yellow,small. Female flower greenish-yellow. Ovary 3-lobed.Fruit a capsule,red, splitting into two when ripe. Seed rounded, shining black.
